Tamagotchi!

So…
Over the weekend, one of my friends re-introduced me to the world of tamagotchis. Seeing her impressive collection of the digital pets, I was driven by an urge which I was unable to surpress, to get my own out. Of course the batteries were long since dead, so we made a trip to the local Wal-Mart and rectified this problem.

I now am the proud owner of a 3 year old, 45 pound, levitating blob.

While this is not my pet, I have been inspired by this: http://www.vtweb.com/backroom/tamagotchi/ to create my own digital pet blog…so I created a new blog!

Word For Last Week!

Slightly late, I know. I’m going to try to post a different word tomorrow…we’ll see if it happens. xD

This week’s word is: noob.
It means: someone who is new to a group, place, activity, etc.
As in: I was surprised to find that of all the noobs who joined the group last week, only half of them were capable of using correct punctuation.

I was also surprised to find the word “noob” in the dictionary, so I just had to use it.

Typing

Last week I spent a lot of time writing. Unfortunately, most of this was done longhand so I now have to type it all and I noticed something: when I write two entire pages of something, it is quite disappointing to type it up and find that it barely fills one page of type. I wouldn’t be as bothered by this, if I wrote big, but I don’t. I just makes my pleasure at having written something dimish when I see how much shorter it is than I thought it would be…

Aside from that rant, I have nothing useful to say today.

Sunday

I cleaned my parent’s bathroom today.
I did it simply because I was on a cleaning spree and their bathroom really, truely needed to be cleaned. But now, I’m starting to regret such a choice. I was cleaning the air conditioning vent and the stupid thing was sharp and cut a deep gash in my finger. It hurts like all get out.

Also, I have been on a terrible writing streak the past couple of days and I cannot keep myself from writing. Normally I would be pleased to have such an event occur, but I cannot keep up with the flow of ideas. I have fragments here, and fragments there, but nothing concrete. Man is it annoying.

Then, my teachers have taken it upon themselves to conspire and put all of their tests on the same day, Tuesday. I just know they were plotting it, knowing full well tha tI would spend my time writing, rather than studying. Oh well. I’ll figure something out. :)

Word For The Week

I’m back sooner than I thought I would be. I thought it would be interesting to have a “word of the week”, so I’m going to attempt it.

This weeks word is: bucolic.
It means: relating to or typical of the countryside or its people; rustic.
As in: The bucolic way of life is not for everyone; in fact, many people simply are not cut out to live in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by rolling hills and golden fields of grain. They are the city folk, the ones who are most comfortable in the sprawling labyrinth of steel and concrete.
A little bit longer than a sentence…but it was fun none-the-less.

Welcome

So, it’s been a while since I actually did any blogging, but I am going to try to get back into the swing of it.

I do not really have much to say that cannot be found in my profile information…
I’ll try to have something decent up by tomorrow night.
That said, I hope everyone has a good night.
Be sure to come back soon.
